After Party at the House of Blues

Chris Wilcox of the NBA Detroit Pistons, who grew up locally in Whiteville, North Carolina, and won the 2002 NCAA Championship at the University of Maryland, has experienced personal loss at the hands of Lupus. Two of his aunts tragically lost their battle with Lupus, and his sister currently suffers from this debilitating disease that hampers the immune system and attacks tissues and organs. The Lupus Foundation provides support and resources for those with Lupus, but perhaps more importantly, it funds research that will one day lead to more effective treatment of the disease. Help Chris meet his fundraising goal to provide a sizable donation to the Lupus Foundation of America in support of their efforts to find the cause and cure for Lupus.
